What is Intuitive Eating?
Intuitive eating is defined as a dynamic mind-body integration of instinct, emotion, and rational thought.
It is a personal process of honoring your health by paying attention to the messages of your body and meeting your physical and emotional needs.
It is an inner journey of discovery that puts you front and center.
You are the expert of your own body.
The Benefits of Intuitive Eating
The goal behind Intuitive Eating is to stop yo-yo dieting and normalize your relationship with food.
We were all born with the innate ability to be an Intuitive Eater.
Diet culture such as societal expectations, body comparison, negative body image comments, and weight loss diets are the culprit that have thrown us off track from relying on our internal cues and needs.
What’s Included in the Group Program
7 live group sessions full of practical tips to help you heal your relationship with food, feel more at peace in your body, and ease your anxiety around food and body image issues
Handouts & materials that will help you put into practice what you are learning in group
An intimate small group environment with kind, caring, compassionate individuals so you feel less alone, and get insight and support not just from Jill, but from others who are in their own Intuitive Eating journey as well
Online group support between sessions while in group, and other nutrition and health resources and recommendations

Frequently Asked Questions
If you have more questions, please send me a message via my contact form and I am happy to hop on a call and answer any additional questions you may have.
Do I need to have any prior knowledge of Intuitive Eating?
Nope! There are many materials for you to read for background on my blog and the Intuitive Eating Book & Workbook does a thorough job of explaining each of the principles.
Is Intuitive Eating another diet?
No! Intuitive Eating is an anti-diet approach to nutrition and health. There are no set of rules to follow. There is no weighing, counting, or measuring food of any kind. There is no restriction or limits on what or how much to eat. There is no pressure for your body to change.
Intuitive Eating is about getting back to listening to and trusting your own body!
What happens if I can't make the live sessions?
If you cannot make a call or two, I understand. The calls may be recorded (depends on group preference). However, if you will not be able to make most/all of the calls, I recommend holding off. This group is about connection, support, and community and you are going to get the most out of it by engaging with myself and the other group members.
Of course it can feel scary to meet with strangers and share intimate details about your life but I promise everyone feels that way. Everyone is supportive and kind and it gets easier, which is why we meet with the same, small group of people for 6 weeks.
What if I want to lose weight?
Your desires to lose weight are understandable. We live in a thin-obsessed society. We will absolutely dive into the WHY behind your desires to lose weight – what do you think it will bring you? But Intuitive Eating is weight-neutral so any changes to your weight are not celebrated or critiqued. Your body size does not determine your health or your worth!
I've never done an online program. How does it work?
This group program uses live group video sessions once per week where we discuss, share, and support one another. You also get handouts and materials to help you take action, and a private group chatroom for support and discussion between live sessions.
I use a program/app called Practice Better, which is really user friendly and everything you need it in one place.
Is there a payment plan available?
Yes, if you are unable to pay the full fee upfront, you have the option to pay in two payments. You’ll find this option on the checkout page.
What is the refund policy?
As this is a group with limited capacity, no refunds will be given for a spot taken.
